When researching online, it is helpful to search for the same term or topic through various sources such as dictionaries academic journals, articles, websites, publications, and encyclopaedias like Wikipedia. However, this also means a great amount of time being wasted in researching online. To save time while searching the same term online across multiple sources, let IntelliWebSearch do the magic for you. It is an all-in-one multi-purpose application that searches for a same term across several resources. Here is a small guide on how to download, install and use it.
1- Go to http://www.intelliwebsearch.com and click the Download link at the bottom
2- Now at the Download page, click the link to download IntelliWebSearch version 3.2.
3- When downloaded, execute the file and follow onscreen instructions to install it. We would recommend to select the first option, i.e. Install IntelliWebSearch on PC as it would be convenient for you to use the application later on.
4- Select the Interface Language and other options and click Install to install the program.
5- Now head over to any application where you have written some content and highlight the phrase you want to search for. In my case, I would like to search for “PESTEL analysis of Nigeria” that I have highlighted as follows:
6- Now that the text is highlighted, press CTRL+ALT+B to open up IntelliWebSearch. You would see the highlighted text as the search string on the top and a number of options that you can select from the bottom. It all depends on where you want to search for that term. Hit any button you like or press Enter.
7- To change search options, click Search Settings. Here you can easily add or remove search engines or online resources that you want to search. When done, close form the top right.
8- Now let us run the search query for our term PESTEL analysis of Nigeria through Google US search engine. Here are the search results:
9- For another source, select Wikipedia.
